Blackboard is a learning management system commonly used in New Zealand and Australian universities. Since 2009, all papers at AUT have had a Blackboard component, although the extent to which this is used is dependent on individual lecturers and programme development. Faculties and schools also use the community module in Blackboard to keep connected with students.
