AUT has faith rooms (Multifaith Rooms, and Muslim Prayer Rooms) for students and staff to use as places of worship, meditation or for quiet reflection. There are specific guidelines for each of the sacred spaces at AUT.
Welcome - AUT Spirit (Spirituality and Chaplaincy) Services hosts a range of weekly activities within its prayer rooms.

The Catholic Chaplain Father Chris Denham is located at the Newman Hall Chaplaincy office, 16 Waterloo Quadrant.
Please feel free to call in. Many students gather for fellowship, study and prayer. There is a lounge/kitchen with a chapel and student study space. Chris and three other young people who also work as chaplains at AUT, UoA, Unitec and Massey are all based here.

Muslim Prayer Rooms
A Muslim prayer room is available on the North and City campus for AUT Muslim students and staff.
The rooms have separate spaces for men and women, and washroom facilities.

Muslim Prayer Room Access, Opening Hours and Sessions
The Muslim Prayer Room is located on the City campus in WT012, on Lorne Street.
Open week days and weekends 5am-11pm.
Access to WT012 is via a key pad code, available at the WG Reception desk.

Jummah Friday Prayers
Summer: Session one at 1.30pm, Session two at 2.00pm, Session three at 2.30pm
Winter: Session one at 12.30pm, Session two at 1.30pm
Open daily 8am-5pm during semesters
