Overview

The Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science* at AUT South Campus in Manukau is a coursework programme that can lead to the Master of Health Science or Master of Health Practice. You complete papers in your chosen discipline to advance your knowledge and academic development.

If you have already completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science, you can add one research, one professional and one specialty core paper to complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science.

*A postgraduate certificate must be surrendered to claim full credits towards a postgraduate diploma. Please refer to the AUT Calendar for Recognition of Prior Learning.

Entry requirements

An applicant must have completed the following or equivalent:
  • Bachelor of Health Science; or
  • Graduate Diploma in Health Science; or
  • Relevant professional practice or experience in a related health field equivalent to a bachelor's degree

Other entry requirements

  • May be asked to provide evidence of current professional practice.
