Research Areas:

Erana’s research areas are in the fields of tikanga Māori (Māori customs), tikanga wahine (Māori customs pertaining to women), te reo Māori (the Māori language) in particular grammar and syntax, te haka a Tānerore me ngā mahi a Rēhia (the Māori performing arts).
