AUT University has agreed to observe and be bound by the New Zealand Government's code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. Copies of the code are available in six languages from the Ministry of Education. Ministry of Education website

Exploring meaningfulness in the 21st century: 2nd symposium on Meaningful Work

The 2nd symposium on Meaningful Work, was held on 1-2 December at the Sir Paul Reeves building. Titled ‘Meaningful Work: Prospects for the 21st Century’ the conference was convened by Professor Lips-Wiersma, Professor – Ethics and Sustainability and co-hosted by Oxford, Sussex and George Washington Universities.


AUT Business School hosts Be. Leadership 2016 graduation

On 5 November, 14 remarkable individuals were honoured at a ceremony to celebrate their graduation from the Be. Leadership programme. A one-of-a-kind programme in New Zealand, Be. Leadership takes participants through a year of exploration of different perspectives, questioning, laughter and self-discovery, aimed at developing leadership potential, self-awareness and the skills and attributes needed to create effective social change.


AUT Business School supports YWCA Equal Pay Awards
The YWCA Equal Pay Awards were launched in 2014, to acknowledge business leaders who are on the journey toward equal pay. Back for the third year, the awards were supported by the AUT Business School, with Sarah Trotman (Director Business Relations, International & Engagement) as MC and Dr. Candice Harris (Professor of Management) giving the keynote address.
