If I had to summarise my semester in New Zealand I would say: Great people, great classes and an absolutely stunning country! The four months I spent in New Zealand have been a life-changing and enriching experience. I have studied as a masters student at AUT and I really liked the small sizes of the classes, which makes them way more interactive than I am used to. Saying this, one of the two classes I picked was even my favorite class during my whole masters program. The university itself is very modern and only a  2 minutes walk from the student housing.

People in New Zealand were always very helpful and friendly. Especially the Noho Marae weekend (Maori cultural experience) was one of a kind and I would never want to miss the spirit I have experienced throughout these days and the friendships I made.

New Zealand as a country has just everything. Laid back, friendly people, a lot of outdoor activities and  a fantastic and diverse landscape. You will find everything from volcanoes, beautiful beaches, snowy mountains, fjords, rain forests and lord of the rings sites to the world's best hamburgers (in Queenstown).

During my time there I have seen so many beautiful places and made so many great friendships. It is extremely hard to put into words the things that I have experienced over those few months but I would recommend AUT and the 'kiwi experience' to everyone.
