The Postgraduate Certificate in Communication Studies is a great option for candidates who have a three-year bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline but lack the grade point average (GPA) for admission to the Master of Communication Studies.

Entry requirements

In order to be admitted to the Postgraduate Certificate in Communication Studies an applicant must have completed:

 (a) the Bachelor of Communication Studies or equivalent or
 (b) a relevant graduate diploma

An applicant may be required to attend a selection interview.

Students will be guided in their choice of papers so that their study forms a coherent programme based on the regulations for endorsements in their chosen field.

Students may incorporate the four papers of the certificate into the Postgraduate Diploma in Communication Studies or the MCS, but must surrender the postgraduate certificate when they complete the higher qualification.
