Become Part of a Tradition – become an OTS industry mentor
OTS has a proud tradition of making use of industry mentors for our students completing their pro-bono projects. Students and mentors have been enriched and rewarded by the experience.
If you are a PR practitioner who is passionate about education, and who would like to make a contribution to the teaching and learning of the next generation of PR practitioners, then please contact us
today. You will be working alongside an experienced senior academic team
, and your role will be focused to help students bridge from being a student to becoming a practicing public relations professional. Much of the work will be to encourage students to look for solutions to problems they are encountering with project implementation, brainstorm ideas, and provide practical advice relating to their specific projects.
All that we ask from you is that you meet with and be in regular contact with the project team for the duration of their 10 – 12 week project.
Through you, the mentor, students will find out first-hand how professional public relations consultants work, learning communication and time management skills, and have their written work evaluated by experienced practitioners.
