Sam Cheow identifies trends for L'Oréal

AUT alumnus Sam Cheow is now the chief product accelerator for L'Oréal USA where his role is to identify and advise product and service trends. He completed his Bachelor of Communication Studies from AUT as an international student from Malaysia, and started his career in advertising in Auckland. Now based in New York City, he credits his time in New Zealand with preparing him for this exciting career.
By studying communications at AUT, you’ll be equipped with the listening skills to hear what the world is saying and what people want conveyed. You will also have access to our incredible industry-standard facilities, including a functioning professional radio studio and a fully equipped television studio.

All of this will allow you to produce relevant and engaging stories – whether that’s with words, images, film, experience or sound.

The demand for our graduates is high because the standard is high. The School of Communication Studies offers a range of undergraduate programmes, and whatever area you specialise in, AUT will provide you with the best foundation to launch your career into the world of communications.
