Centre for Robotics and Vision (CeRV)
The Centre for Robotics & Vision (CeRV) addresses academic activities in the fields of image and video technology, and in robotics and automation, especially with respect to integrated activities of those disciplines. It contributes to related theoretical fundamentals at an internationally competitive level of quality, as well as to applications within New Zealand, and it is also open to national and international contacts and collaborations. CeRV contributes to the public appearance of AUT by hosting various academic activities such as seminars or conferences. It is the "home" of a community of researchers and graduate students at AUT (and elsewhere) working in robotics and computer vision, who also welcome international research visitors to the centre.
