A high tea fit for the queen

Certificate in Hospitality and Tourism students showed their culinary and service skills on 21 October as they hosted the Dilmah High Tea.

Two sessions were hosted, where students were split into two groups — front and back of house. Each group had the opportunity to serve guests and prepare a variety of bite-size treats. A wide selection of flavoured tea was available, along with scones, sandwiches and muffins.

Upon successful completion of this programme you can staircase into the Bachelor of International Hospitality Management, Bachelor of International Tourism Management or Bachelor of Arts.

Entry requirements

  • 48 credits at level 2
  • 8 credits at level 1 or higher in one language rich subject.
  • Applicant must be at least 17 years.

Structure and content

This is a broad-based, flexible qualification. You develop capabilities and skills for academic study including English and communication skills, as well as numeracy and information literacy, within a hospitality, events and tourism environment.
