Matilda Poasa

Māori Media grad lands US internship

Bachelor of Māori Development in Māori Media alumna, Matilda Poasa, was selected from more than 250 applicants to intern at the Sundance Institute in Los Angeles.

The internship, set-up by AUT Internz, is an opportunity to give Native Americans a voice in the Sundance Film Festival. Matilda will be working on the Native American and Indigenous Film Program, which helped Thor director Taika Waititi in his early years.
